4M Vineyards began as a humble FFA project and has grown into a proud family business rooted in tradition, hard work, and a love for the land. Established in 1984, we’ve become one of the largest Concord grape vineyards in Missouri — a true Route 66 landmark in the St. James area.

For more than a century, the St. James–Rosati region has been known for its exceptional Concord grapes. The rocky Ozark soil and warm Missouri sunshine create the perfect conditions for grapes with a rich, distinctive flavor and texture found nowhere else.

Where Every Grape Tells Our Family’s Story

Thanks to U.S. Route 66 and I-44, visitors from across the country have easy access to our vineyard. For many families, stopping at the local stands along the highway has become a cherished annual tradition — a taste of Missouri’s heritage.

Over the years, 4M Farms has expanded beyond grapes to include a wide variety of home-grown garden vegetables. Our vine-ripened tomatoes are a perennial favorite, but we also offer fresh produce, quality hay (round and square bales), and large quantities of straw.

We even provide grape plants and cuttings for those who want to grow a bit of 4M Vineyards at home.

Our Journey: From FFA Project to Missouri Legacy

1984 – The Seeds Are Planted

What began as a simple Future Farmers of America (FFA) project marked the humble beginnings of 4M Vineyards. With a small plot of Concord grapes and a big dream, the first vines were planted by our founder, inspired by a love for agriculture and a vision for the future.

1990s – A Growing Family Affair

As the vines matured, so did the passion. Over the next decade, the entire family joined in, helping expand the vineyard and deepen our commitment to quality farming. 4M Vineyards officially became a family-run business rooted in tradition and teamwork.

Early 2000s – Expansion and Innovation

With years of hands-on experience and a growing demand for our grapes, we began expanding our acreage and refining our practices. During this time, we became known not only for our Concord grapes but also for our consistent quality and sustainable growing methods.

2010 – Missouri’s Hidden Gem

By 2010, 4M Vineyards had grown into one of the largest Concord grape vineyards in the state of Missouri. 2015 – A Unique Offering: Seedless Grapes

We introduced our exclusive offering—seedless grapes—making us the only stand in the region to provide this rare and sought-after variety. This innovation set us apart and reflected our ongoing dedication to bringing something special to our community.
